Today I successfully checked in on a patient without my nurse or instructor by my side,
Assisted in holding her baby,
Saw a need,
Figured out an appropriate nursing intervention,
Successfully implemented the intervention,
Left my shift with a happy mama & babe.

Thanks to an awesome nurse, mama, hubby, & babe, all in a days work :)

It was a good clinical shift, I really think that nursing is the job for me!
