Yes Please

Someday I will ride in one of these darn things, I think they are the most awesome, coolest, romantic, crazy, fantastic inventions there are! {yes please} I just thought I would share that post with you, during my "quick" break between analyzing the functional health patterns of my patient I had this week. But it's not an understatement I really do love hot air balloons!

That is all, I gotta continue on with this analysis-filled evening.

Training Trip 2012 {Final Home Stretch!}

My final training trip of my collegiate career has now come and gone, here's a few highlights from the trip! Thankfully since I am terrible at taking photos of myself, I have many teammates that have photos I can share with you!

Team Shot on the last day in the Bahamas, following our last practice :)
 The first day that we arrived it was highs in the mid 60s, so unfortunately that made for a cold first 3-days, including a broken heater in the long-course pool, and a lot of grumpy faces...luckily mother nature warmed up and we were able to find a short-course meter pool (my favorite being a sprinter!) AND the heater was functioning!
The best roommates I could ask for!
After a few days in Florida we got to do something that has been on my "bucket" list for as long as I started creating one! You may know what it is if you've seen past my blog post {here} & {here}, drum roll please....I swam with Dolphins! It was a super fun experience, and I'd say once and a lifetime, I don't think I'll spend the nearly $200 again to swim with creatures that should be left to themselves in the wild, but it was definitely worth every penny! {I even got to do the incredible foot lift; see below!}

·         Swim with dolphins (check!)

 Below are some random final shots of the week, other highlights were jet skiing in the ocean (even though it isn't on my bucket list, I have always wanted to jet ski; so that was exciting!), soaking in the sun, break from reality, time with some pretty awesome people. Though, I'll have to admit, I was very happy to see the Minneapolis skyline from the plane upon our arrival home!

Hopefully you enjoyed the photos and stories from my trip! If you're interested our first swim meet back in the States is tonight! St. Kate's vs. St. Thomas dual meet @ St. Thomas, this evening at 6pm. Should be short & sweet, and good to get back in the pool and compete :)

reflections from my day

~ Ashley's day off ~
8:30am - Wake up for no reason, roll over in bed fall asleep for another 20 minutes

9:30am - Leave with mother in toe along with all 4 of the family's new cell phones and go into our providers store to clarify that we have indeed the proper service assigned to each phone

10:30am - Leave cell phone store assured we have what we want, and then I get distracted by the Forever21 store next door and purchase two items

11:00am - Head over to the eye doctor to order new prescription lenses and choose frames for my new glasses...

These are the ones I went with; Burberry frames I've been happy with in the past and I liked the richer color.

My prescription has changed every year since 7th grade so is that up to 9 new glasses in my lifetime? Crazy huh. I enjoy the excuse to purchase anew every year!

Oh how the list goes on, my days never seem to be boring... It actually turned out to be a nice day, and I suppose you could call it fairly productive. I also spent a lot of time blog browsing this afternoon and I ran across Lauren's blog again, and enjoyed reading through her recent entries...

Busy Bee Lauren is slowly becoming a new favorite blog to follow you can visit her {here}; I'll have to add her to my blogroll soon. With this being said, I was super excited when she posted her bucket list {here}. I've started my "bucket list" a little while ago and continue to edit it along the way, you can see my posts {1} & {2}. I just call my "bucket list" just a list, bucket list makes it depressing, so I like to think of it as just things to do when I'm bored sometime and like to be adventurous or my list.

One of these days I could get more savvy with internet codes and make my blog a little more fancy, until then I'll keep mine simple :)

Have a pleasant evening, my hope is to post more consistently; I'll do my best!
