Day 1 - Sanding Floors [labor of love]

this is my youngest brothers room sneak peak at the sanding process.

After the first day it was discovered that this project was going to take longer than expected and require a little more patience and use of stripper to get all the old stain and varnish off. I never realized how dark the floors actually were until all the stain was off and the sander did its work! Because of the extra time it was decided to prioritize the two bedrooms and the dining room, as for the front living room...that will have to wait until a later date....thanksgiving break? winter break? spring break? Well I guess we'll see! We're getting the whole process started and next time we'll know exactly what to expect.
