family summer house project 2012

Let me give you a little summary of my life and house renovations/ projects. For my family as long as I can remember all house upgrades/ renovations/ DIY's are done in the summer. My parents have owned one home their entire marriage, and nearly my entire life. The largest home project to this date was the addition to our house of a master bedroom and family room on the back of our house. However, history of house projects have included but not limited to; room painting, window coverings, new furnace, addition of central air, & new carpet,...those sorts of things. This summers task, refinishing our original hard wood floors from our home that was built in 1915.

  unfortunately i have now realized that i never took before photos of the two bedrooms...so this is the best we got.

So here's to fumes, sanding, and fun stress related to house projects. We started this on Monday, so we're already three days into it and it certainly has come a long way!
